Sweet Sounds

I’ve mentioned before that I love to sing silly songs to my kids, but what I might not have mentioned is that my dear friend Shannon has what is basically a recording studio in her house. She’s also very good at singing (she’s actually had some training where as I’ve just done lots of crooning around a campfire at summer camp) and her husband, Jeff, is an excellent guitar player. Anyway, the three of us have started to put some of the silly diddies I sing to the kiddos to music. From time to time, I’ll post some of the songs here so you can hear them, tell me what you think about them, maybe even play them for your own kids to enjoy.

The first one is called Max and Min. It’s the story of two mismatched pals whose friendship meets a surprising end during an ill-fated lunch date. Sounds serious, I know, but it’s really silly. Click on the link below to take a listen and please let me know what you think!

[Please note that when you click on this link, you’ll be sent to a website called Fileden.com, then you’ll need to click on another link to hear the song. You can then click the back arrow on your browser to get back to the blog. This is really the only way I could get songs on my blog without having to pay a space upgrade fee. I’m a working mom, but I’m not making THAT much money! ;)]
